Dogs Line Up for Their Walk in Central Park

This picture was taken in Manhattan on First ave. and 85 street. I was actually driving by and had to stop to take a picture of all of these dogs. I can't imagine how much each walker makes in one day, but I am sure it is a lot. Photo, JoAnna Levenglick

3 Dogs on a Lazy Afternoon in Southampton

These 3 dogs; Zeppelin, Chloe and Cosette play together all of the time, and know where to go when they want to relax. It is funny that they all know where to find the most comfortable sofa in the house.

Nipper, The RCA Victor Dog

Nipper is one of the most recognized dogs used for a company. It was very clever how they had the dog look directly into the direction of where the sound came from on the Victrola. Read more information about Nipper on; www.centralArF.TV Look under celeb dogs. Photo, RCA

Dog Hotel and Spa in Hollywood

Not only do people like to be pampered, but so do dogs. In Hollywood, California you can find a very special pet hotel and spa where you can check your pet into it's own room by the night. The D Pet Hotel offers meals, day care, and very special rooms with attractive beds for your dog. The rooms even come with a 42 inch flat screen TV set. A vet is on duty for 24 hours/day in case your dog gets sick while at the spa. Contact the hotel for the rates. Photo, D Pet Hotels

Manhattan Pit Bull Wears Red Nail Polish

This dog is owned by the man in the post listed below who is seen being sent home by the police. This is a female dog that is tied to a street light with a very short rope. The owner goes to the corner of 60th and Lexington Avenue in Manhattan and panhandles. He uses about 7 animals to capture the attention of people who walk past him with hopes that they will put money in his hat on the sidewalk. This is a horrible example of animal abuse and the man only gets sent home when he is caught by the police. See more info. below. Photo, JoAnna Levenglick

Man Abuses Puppies in the Streets of Manhattan

The man who is wearing a hat and standing between the two police officers was sent home for jeopardising the safety of a litter of puppies. The scene took place across from Bloomingdales at Lexington Ave. and 60th street. I have seen this man who will stand outside with a pit bull, guinea pig, cat, another dog and in this case a litter of puppies. He ties the pit bull up on a very short chain to the lamp post. If you look carefully you can see the dog on the left side of the top photo. The bottom two photos show the puppies in a box. They had nothing to eat or drink. The officers did not arrest the man, but rather sent him home. This abuse is terrible. The same man does it all of the time when he stands outside all day with his animals. He has been reported numerous times, and keeps coming back with his hat on the ground for donation. Photo, JoAnna Levenglick
